He entered in France, with his family, in 1910 to live in Paris and studied art at the Académie Ranson.
In 1914 travelled to India and then was mobilised until the end of the First World War.
During 30 years he was teacher of engraving at the École National des Beaux Arts in Paris.
Several exhibitions in France and abroad and participations at the Salon d'Autonne, Salon des Tuileries, Salon des Peintres-Graveurs, among others, awarded him with prestigious prizes.
