IAN BURKE
Born 1955 in Saltburn, North Yorkshire, England.
Studied Fine Art at Newcastle University. Then, during 2 years, he worked with his father as a labourer on the North Sea oil rigs.
Continued his studies at Goldsmith's College in London.
Now, he divide his life betwen teaching Art and as a painter printmaker.
His work is based on the coast line from the river Tees and the river Esk during his hobbies of walking and fishing.
