DASHA SHISHKIN
Born 1977 in Moscow, Russia.
Studied in Columbia University and earned a BFA from the New School of Social Research in 2001.
She is a figurative artist painting in acrylic and gouache. But also some works in pastel, crayon and ink.
Dasha said that the unusual scenes in her paintings are her way of living vicariously. "I am very quiet. I only go to places where I can take my schnauzer".
She lives and works in New York.
