WILLY VERGINER
Born 1957 in Bressanone, Italy.
He attended the Academy of Monaco.
His figurative wood sculptures are carved from solid pieces of linenwood. Some of them painted with acrylic. 
These amazing sculptures of animals and human bodies are created with a realism, an anatomical precision in surreal compositions.
His work has been exhibited in important museums and galleries around the world.
Lives and works in Ortisei, a small town in South Tyrol, Italy.
