ALFRED MANESSIER 
5 December 1911, Saint Ouen - 1 August 1993, Orleans, France
Studied at the Art School at Amiens, and later, architecture at the  École de Beaux-Arts  in Paris.
He spent a lot of time in the Louvre and attended various  schools in Montparnasse.
His work is not the expression of an aesthectic theory  but an inward experience.
