PEDER SEVERIN KROYER
23 July 1851, Stavanger, Norway - 21 November 1909, Skagen, Denmark
Known as P.S.Kroyer.
He began his art education at the age of nine.
Later, in Copenhagen's Technical Institute and completed his studies at the Danish Royal Academy of Art.
During 4 years he stayed in Paris where he got some natural influence from the contemporary impressionists (Monet, Degas, Manet and Renoir).
The Skagens Museum has some of his best works in the permanent exhibition.
