NAT MAYER SHAPIRO

Very young boy decided to be an artist, a painter. He attended art programs at the Pratt Institute in New York.
In the army, in 1941, he spent 4 years in Australia and New Guinea. Returned to a rehabilitation center and, after a few months, was back to his artistic life.
He spent a few years in Chicago and Paris where he attended the Académie de la Grande Chaumiére.
His work is part of several private and public collections.
