Born 12 December in Leeds, United Kingdom.
He studied at Grosvenor House School in Harrogate, Yorkshire.
Went to Sweden with his swedish father and english mother where he finish his academic preparation.
In 1926 moved to Sydney, Australia.
His photographs give us a portrait of the australian tradition, indigenous identity and his strong relationship with Aborigines.
His photos were held at museums and galleries.
