EMILY EVELETH

Born 1960 in Connecticut, USA.

She studied at the Smith College and later at the Massachussets College of Art.

Originally she studied silkscreen techniques. Later experimented ink drawing, pastel, gouache and oil paints. 

She also developed a technique of mixing graphite and oil.

Since the late 1980 she exhibited extensively in the United States and, in 2010, had a solo exhibition at Smith College of Art in Northampton.

Awarded several times, also was a visiting artist at the American Academy in Rome.
