VOLKER STELZMANN
Born 1940 in Dresden, Germany.
He went very young to live in Leipzig where he studied graphic design and illustration at the Academy while working as a mechanical engineer.
Later, he became a member of the Association for Visual Arts of East Germany.
In 1978 he received the award in the Visual Arts and the National Prize for Art and Literature in 1983.
After 1973 he began teaching in the Academy in Leipzig and Berlin.
Now he lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
