PHILIP PEARLSTEIN
Born 1924 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, USA.
He studied at the Carnegie Institute and the University of Art History in New York.
There, in Manhattan, he lived in the same apartment with Andy Warhol. 
He spent most of his life as instructor at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and at the Yale University and as a professor at Brooklyn College.
Now lives and works in New York where he is represented by the Betty Cuningham Gallery, New York.
