EDUARDO ARROYO
Born in Madrid, Spain.
After studied at the Escuela de Periodismo in Madrid, went to live in Paris because of the Spanish regime of Francisco Franco.
In Paris attended his first exhibition at the Galerie Claude Levin.
In 1963, at the Bienal of Venice he exhibited ironic portraits of Franco, Mussolini, Hitler and Salazar causing a strong reaction.
Spent a few years in Milan and also in Bern.
And because of his affinity with Switzerland, the Kunst Museum in Thun presented an exhibition, The Swiss Chapters, showing works from different life stage of Arroyo from lithographs, paintings, drawing up to sculptures.
We can classiffy his colorful works between the nouvelle figuration and pop art.
