ALFREDO MARTINEZ PONCE
Born 1965 in Tecucigalpa, Honduras.
He is a figurative painter with a magic realism in his works.
Once said: "Fundamentalmente quiero expressarme y hago uso de los recursos que tengo a la mano, me es indiferente si pinto, hago escultura o quizá si escribo, siempre y quando existe el cauce para dar salida a los pensamientos que de continuo me atormentam o alegram. Creo también que en mi pintura hay algo de confessión,  por la culpa colectiva o lo ancestral...soy vitima de mi propria humanidad."
