JACK HOOPER
Was born 1928 in Los Angeles, USA.
Graduated from High School joined Army Air Corps and after his military service he attended and graduated from Los Angeles City College.
He was a complete artist abstract expressionist and figurative painter, sculptor, muralist and printmaker.
In Mexico City became a mural assistant to Siqueiros. There also suffered a great influence by Rivera and Orozco.
Between 1952 and 1955 attended the Academy Julian in Paris and during that period had an intense creativity.
Received recognition when he was an Associate in Art at UCCLA, also a Visiting Professor of Art at the University of Colorado, and Assistant Professor of Art in Los Angeles.
Between 1967 and 1969 executed 14 murals in Los Angeles.
Along his artistic life, for more than 60 years, he continue creating good works and participating  in several solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums.
