MÁRIO CRAVO NETO
(1947-2009)
He was born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.
The sculpture was his first interest but early turned to photography.
He went to New York to take classes at the Art Students League and working as a street photographer.
After a car accident he lost mobility and, unable to walk, he began shooting in the studio.
His work has been exhibited in Europe, USA and is part of private and public collections.
