ALEX COLVILLE

(1920-2013)

He was born in Toronto, Canada.

Graduated with the Bachelor of Fine Arts.

After the war became a faculty member with the Fine Arts department at Momit Allison University.

He left teaching to become a painter and printmaker and exhibited his magic realist paintings at Tate Gallery in London, Beijing, New York, Paris and many others with a great sucess.
