WILLEM DE KOONING
(1904-1887)
This American artist born in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands moved to New York, in a clandestine travel, in 1927.
The series of Black and White abstracts in 1946 and later the Woman put him at the forefront of the global art scene.
Began as a figuratif expressionist but became an abstract painter with works far more improvitory.
He could draw with both hands.
