She was born in 1946 in Nokia, Finland.
In Helsinki she studied art at the University of Art and Design.
In 1968 went for the first time to Australia for a couple of years and had the chance to study art at the Paddington Art School and also at the Julian Ashton School of Fine Arts.
Then returned to Europe and choosed the Canary Islands, in Spain, to live until 1981.
Went back to Australia living in Ballart, near Melbourne, where she works as a full time artist painter, illustrator and graphic designer.
She illustrated the Oscar Wilder story "The selfish giant", and also "The stone lion", in 2015.
But she is also illustrator in several magazines, book covers, advertising posters and billboards.
Once she said: "By concentrating on fairytales I am also hoping to add an extra dimension to my art by evoking childhood memories and circumstances where those stories helped on to navigate through life".
