MARCELLE HAUSELAAR
Born 1945 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
She studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in the Hague and became a painter and printmaker.
Then she started the adventure of travelling until one day decided to settle in London.
She began painting abstract works but turned to figurative in a few years.
She is also fascinated by etchings.

ILYA ZOMB
Born 1960 in Russia.
Studied at the Odessa State Art College and the Odessa Art School between 1971 and 1979.
His paintings seem coming out of a dream. Ballerinas, elephants, giraphes, birds and gigant fruits.
As he said, his paintings are between the possible and impossible, the real and the unreal.

PHILIP EVERGOOD
Born in New York, USA, with the name of Philip Blashki.
He raised in London, UK, where he moved with his parents in 1909.
There, he studied at Eton and Cambridge Universities and later at the Slade School.
Returned to New York in 1923 and, legally, changed his name to Philip Evergood.
One year later, trying to live as a painter, he travelled to Europe and studied in Paris at the Academie Julien.
In his art is visible the influences he got from Cezanne and El Grego.

KEES VAN DONGEN
1877-1968
French painter born in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
He went to France in 1905 and, as a painter, was part of the first Fauvist Group.
Van Dongen painted with strong colours with a Fauvism almost German Expressionism.
In 1912 moved to live in Montparnasse (in Paris) but, after the war, he went to study in Rotterdam where he began painting and drawing the theme prostitutes.
He also travelled to Egypt, Marroc and Spain.
