PHILIP EVERGOOD
Born in New York, USA, with the name of Philip Blashki.
He raised in London, UK, where he moved with his parents in 1909.
There, he studied at Eton and Cambridge Universities and later at the Slade School.
Returned to New York in 1923 and, legally, changed his name to Philip Evergood.
One year later, trying to live as a painter, he travelled to Europe and studied in Paris at the Academie Julien.
In his art is visible the influences he got from Cezanne and El Grego.
