Pintor naïve sobretudo inspirado no mundo que o rodeava, a casa do seu avô onde viveu toda a vida.
Nas suas primeiras exposições todos os quadros eram vendidos e o artista sentia-se satisfeito com esse reconhecimento mas também triste por ver partir as suas obras.
