CURIOSIDADES


In 1961, "Le bateau", a painting signed by Matisse in 1953, was hung upside-down in the NY Museum during 47 days!

In 1964, in a Swedish Art Gallery several paintings were praised by critics.
The artist was a chipanzée with the pseudonym Pierre Brassau!

The President Roosevelt of the United States collapsed while being painted.
The unfinished painting really captured his last moment.

Salvador Dali made a painting for the prisoners at Rikers Island in New York. It was hung in the dinnig room for 15 years.
Then, it was moved to the prison lobby and, in 2003, 3 prison gards stole the painting!
