PAUL JOOSTENS
18 June 1889 - 24 March 1960, Antwerp, Belgium
Artist working with painting, drawing and collages. He also wrote prose and poetry.
He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.
Joostens went through several phases from impressionism, expressionism, cubism, futurism and Dadaism until a neo-gothic style inspired by the Flemish Primitives.
