ARMAN MANOOKIAN
15 May 1904, Constantinople, Ottomman Empire, Armenia
10 May 1931, Honolulu, Hawai
He was a survivor of the Armenian genocide and immigrated to the United States in 1920.
Studied illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design and several classes at the Art Students League of New York.
Aged 27 he commited suicide by drinking poison.
