JOSÉ GOMEZ FRESQUET

1939-2007

Known as Frémez, he was born in Regla, Havana, Cuba.

Considered one of the most talented Cuban graphic artists he worked as a graphic designer and art director for diverse Cuban publications. Also as a cartoonist for newspapers.

In fact, he was an icon of Cuban and Latin American serigraphy.

During his artistic life he received numerous awards and prizes for his etchings, cartoons, posters, political and graphic art.
