JOSEF LADA
1887-1957
Born 17 December (130 years ago) in Hrusice, Czech Republic.
He was a painter and writer but his artistic talent is best known as illustrator.
He also worked as a caricaturist for newspapers and created frescoes and designed costumes for plays and films.
