Called Georges Prosper Remi was the famous cartoonist known for creating the adventures of Tin Tin, among others (Jo, Zette, Jocko, Quick and Flupke).

In his private life he enjoyed walking in the countryside, gardening, art collecting and was a great fan of Jazz music.
