GERDA WEGENER
1889-1940
Born in Hammelev, Denmark.
She studied at the Art Academy. And worked as an illustrator for Vogue, La Vie Parisienne among other magazines and became a well-known and appreciated artist in Paris.
The film "The Danish Girl" was inspired in her life.
