GEN PAUL
1895-1975
Born as Eugène Paul in Montmartre, Paris.
Very young began working in decorative furnishings.
During the War he lost one of his legs and during his convalescence began painting in a dynamic form influenced by Toulouse-Lautrec, Van Gogh and Cezanne.
In 1934 he was recognized for his contributions to France and was awarded with the Legion of Honour.
