CHARLES KVAPIL
(1884-1959)
Born in Antwerp, Belgium.
Studied at the Académie Royale des Beaux Arts in Antwerp and his first exhibition was in 1908.
After the 1st War he went to Paris, living in Montmartre, and creating his art works. Paintings full of colour, hot colours.
Exhibited with success in the main cities of Europe and also in New York.
We can see some of his works in the Musée d'Arte Moderne in Paris and Museum of Art in Amsterdam among others.
