TONI FRISSELL

Antoinette Frissel Bacon was born in New York, USA.
Trained as an actress worked in advertising but after a few years found work as a fashion photographer for Vogue magazine.
During the war she worked as the official photographer for the American Red Cross and after that as a freelance photojournalist for Life, Look, Vogue and Harper's Bazaar until her retirement in 1967.
Died of Alzheimer disease in 1988 in a Long Island nursing home.
