(1904-1999)
Was born in New York, USA.
Attended the National Academy of Design during six years. After that, he worked as a teacher at The Art Students League of New York and also as commercial illustratoor at a New York advertising agency.
Traveled to France and Spain and lived a few years in the island Majorca.
In his work is easy to understand some influence by Reginald Marsh and, as someone said, 'the satire of his art can be compared to George Grosz and Otto Dix'.
Of course this great painter worked in a magic style. In his works grotesque means beauty. Real beauty.
