GEORG TAPPERT
(1880-1957)
He was born in Berlin, Germany.
Studied in the Karlsruhe Academy and was the co-founder of the Visual Arts School in Berlin and the Neue Sezession.
He worked as a teacher during several years until Nazi students demanded his dismissal.
In 1937, Tappert's works are removed from public collections in Germany. And seven years later his studio was destroyed by bombing.
At that moment he decided to stop his artistic life.
