NIKI DE SAINT PHALLE
She was a French sculptor and painter born 1930 in Neuilly-sur- Mer. 
Without being able to accept the strong traditions of her noble family, very young she moved to Spain. 
There, became deeply affected by the work of Antoni Gaudi. And, influenced by Gaudi's parc, she decided to make a monumental sculpture park acquiring a big piece of land in Garaviccchio in Tuscany, called Giardino dei Tarocchi (Tarot Garden).
This garden contains her sculptures of the symbols on the Tarot cards, 20 years  of work.
She moved to san Diego, California in 1994 and died in 2002.
Think about her words: "If life is a game od cards, we are born without knowing the rules, yet we must play our hand throughout the ages, poetry, philosophers, alchemists, artists have devoted themselves to discover their meaning".
